PArt Talk with Susana Uvidia and Alexandra Karg
Susana Uvidia was born in Ecuador. Today, the artist lives and works in London, where she did her BFA and MA at The University of Art of London, Central Saint Martin in 2018.
Her Ecuadorian origin, as the artist herself describes it, is decisive for the search for her own identity and for her art. Susana Uvidia’s colourful artworks also contain resistance against stereotypes and inequality in society. Alexandra Karg spoke with the artist about her work.
